Frequently asked questions
How do I sign up?
You can sign up by completing our Membership Form on the website. It only takes a few minutes! Under-18s will also need to complete a Parental Consent Form. To learn more you can check this out Tutorial and Tips.
How much money can I request?
The amount you can request depends on:
• Your total savings amount
• Your plan level ($1–$28/day or equivalent weekly)
• How many days you’ve saved (minimum 90 days required)
• Your membership status
You can request up to your full 336-day savings commitment after your first 90 days.
Why do you need parental consent?
To ensure safety and legal compliance, anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian approve their participation.
What are the savings plans?
You can choose from:
• $1 to $28 per day, or
• $7 to $196 per week
Payments are processed securely via Square. You can upgrade your plan or catch up at any time.
How does the Boost Pot fee work?
If you win a Boost Pot prize, Csave takes the same daily savings amount you chose as the fee. Example: if you’re on the $20/day plan and win, Csave’s fee is $20.
Why was my payment declined?
Some payments may be declined if you’re using Cash App, Chime, or certain small banks, as these don’t always connect smoothly with QuickBooks.
Don’t worry — this doesn’t mean your account or card has a problem. It’s just a compatibility issue with QuickBooks.
✅ We’re currently working to add PayPal integration soon, which will give you more flexible and reliable payment options.
In the meantime, we recommend trying a different card or bank to complete your payment.
What are Boost Pots?
The Boost Pot is a weekly savings challenge with a cash prize. When you commit to saving a fixed amount (like $5–$100 per week), you’re entered into a prize group. Every Friday, one winner is selected from each group and receives a prize payout.
• Start Day: Saturday
• End Day: Friday
• Winners Selected: Every Friday evening
• Payouts: Cash App, PayPal, Venmo, or QuickBooks within 48 hours
What if the pot doesn’t have enough funds to cover my request?
If the requested pot has a low balance:

What If I miss a week?
If you miss a weekly payment:
• You won’t qualify for that week’s Boost Pot prize
• You can catch up by submitting a one-time payment
• No fees or penalties are charged
How does the borrowing fee work?
When you request a borrow, Csave charges a one-time service fee equal to your chosen daily savings plan amount (between $1–$28).
Example:
If you’re on the $10/day plan, your borrow service fee is $10.
This fee helps support platform operations and member borrowing access.
Does Csave charge a fee?
Yes. Csave uses simple, transparent fees to keep the platform running:
1. Membership Fee
A $2 monthly membership fee is required to keep your account active and unlock features such as:
- Borrow requests
- Boost Pot participation
- Plan upgrades
2. Savings Plan Service Fee
Members choose a daily or weekly savings plan ($1–$28/day equivalent).
Your selected plan amount determines:
- Your borrowing eligibility
- Your Boost Pot access
- Your borrow service fee (if you choose to borrow)
Important:
Savings plans are not interest and not loans. They are part of Csave’s membership-based savings system.
Example
- Choose $7/day plan
- After completing your first 28 days:
- You become borrow-eligible
- You may join the Boost Pot
- If you request a borrow, the service fee is $7
• You still earn borrowing eligibility and can join the Boost Pot after your first 28 days.
