Rental Requirements

Rental Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid driver’s license required
• Security deposit may be required
• Vehicle must be returned in the same condition
• Fuel must be returned at the same level

Vehicle Requirements:

• Must be 2008 or newer
• Must be in good running condition
• No major mechanical issues
• Clean and presentable
• Valid registration & insurance required

 

Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit may be required to reserve a vehicle through the Csave Community Car Network.

Typical deposits:

• Standard vehicles: $50 – $100
• SUVs / specialty vehicles: $100 – $250

Deposits help protect vehicle owners and confirm serious bookings.
The deposit may be applied toward the total rental cost or refunded after the vehicle is returned in proper condition.

Vehicle owners may require a refundable security deposit before vehicle pickup.
Deposit amounts and refund terms are determined by the vehicle owner.

Flexible Booking Options

To provide more flexibility, Csave offers two rental options:

Option 1 – Standard Booking

• Daily Rate: $25–$85/day
• Refundable Deposit: $50–$250
• Best for: Lower daily cost

Option 2 – No Deposit Booking

• Daily Rate: $95–$110/day
• No security deposit required
• Best for: Quick access with no upfront hold

Rental Terms & Conditions

By requesting a vehicle through Csave Community Car Rentals, renters agree to the following:

• Driver must be 21 years or older
• A valid driver's license is required
• Vehicle must be returned in the same condition it was received
• Fuel must be returned at the same level
• Renters are responsible for tickets, tolls, or violations during the rental period
• Csave acts as a community coordination platform connecting renters with vehicle owners

Community Rental Rules

To maintain safety and trust within the Csave Community Car Network, all members must follow these guidelines.

Vehicle Owners Must:

• Provide accurate vehicle information and photos
• Maintain valid registration and insurance
• Ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy
• Communicate availability clearly with renters

Drivers Must:

• Be at least 21 years old
• Hold a valid driver's license
• Follow all traffic laws and local regulations
• Return the vehicle in the same condition received
• Return fuel at the same level unless otherwise agreed

Platform Role

Csave operates as a community coordination platform connecting members with available vehicles. Csave does not directly operate or insure vehicles listed by members.

Members are responsible for verifying vehicle condition, insurance coverage, and rental agreements before completing a rental.

Damage & Responsibility

Renters agree to operate vehicles responsibly and follow all traffic laws.
Any damage occurring during the rental period may be the responsibility of the renter and subject to review between the vehicle owner and Csave.

 

Vehicle Verification

Before a vehicle is listed on the Csave Community Car Rentals page, the vehicle owner must provide:

• A valid driver's license
• Vehicle registration
• Proof of insurance
• Clear photos of the vehicle

This helps ensure safety and trust within the Csave Community Car Network.

Vehicle Owner Responsibility

Vehicle owners are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is legally registered, insured, and safe for operation. Csave acts as a community coordination platform connecting renters with vehicle owners.
